| I like dark things. I like old things. I like dark old things. This is what I like to draw most of the time. I deviate from dark old things when I think that there might be money to be made by creating a light, new thing. I am from Hilo, which is located on the Big Island of Hawaii. I have a BA in Anthropology and an MFA in scenic design at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I designed many sets for Kabuki performances as well as for Hawaiian and Indonesian performances. I now live in the arctic, more specifically Boston, MA- the coldest place on earth. I am counting the days until I can move away. Far, far away. I like to depict distorted, surreal landscapes, much of which are taken from the sights I visited in Europe. My more main stream paintings are great for selling at craft fairs and in smaller galleries. I hope you will enjoy my new line of greeting cards which are popular among the bitter Hallmark haters among us. | |
